Do you have the tools you need to advocate for yourself or keep your collaborators safe when staging scenes requiring intimate physical contact? In this workshop, we’ll cover consent based practices including personal boundaries and how to communicate them, self-care and self-regulation tools, check-in and closure practices, and how to deal with others breaking boundaries. Our goal is to equip participants with the language and tools to work collaboratively while respecting others' and their own boundaries. We’ll be sure to set aside some time for discussion and reflection.
After this workshop, Participants will have the language and tools to communicate their boundaries. Participants will be equipped with self-care and self-regulation practices. Participants will be able to implement check-in and closure practices. All of this will result in a feeling of empowerment!
